The Grounds

Our vineyard offers beautiful scenery throughout the year. Perched atop a hill overlooking the Minas Basin of the Bay of Fundy, you can see the world's highest tides dramatically change the view four times a day.

Take a stroll and enjoy the sights and sounds, and take advantage of the fresh, clean air of the countryside. If you've had a full day of hiking, sightseeing, birdwatching, hiking, wine-tasting, or any of the many other fabulous activities this region has to offer, on clear nights you can get beautiful, unobstructed views of the moon and the bright, starry sky, as you can only see away from overly-lit urban areas.

No matter what the weather or season, the grounds about Nova Scotia's Olde Lantern Inn & Vineyard always offer a breathtaking spot to walk, sit or lounge. Whether it's the vineyard, the dry fossil brook, or any other sights, you'll find much to treasure during your stay.
